  • What? You will visit 3 unique caves, which were converted into shelters during World War I. They are unique both from the natural and architectural point of view. Along the way you will have the opportunity to learn about the unique karst landscape, its features, traditions and hear quite some sad (nonsensical) stories and facts about the war that should be remembered, so that such a thing never happens again. There are still plenty of war remains and artefacts visible along the route. The tour ends with a visit to the small military museum in the cave club Temnica.

Biting into the perfectly cooked meat with a crispy crust and tender center, a burst of juice flows into the mouth. For those who appreciate good meat, the address where Šajna resides is worth remembering, especially since they age the meat themselves. The wine cellar offers between 50 and 70 labels.

Osmica is a traditional sale of wine and other agricultural products directly at the estates. In the past, this “tax-free sale” period could only last 8 days a year. Hence the name osmica (‘eight’ in Slovenian). Today, this local specialty is a popular way of selling homemade delicacies to farm visitors, enhanced by socializing and musical events.
